Italian Journalist Andrea Scanzi Claims Lazio “Lacks Continuity”

By Steve Zavala -

Lazio is one team that has been unpredictable in all competitions this season. This is a team that has logged wins over the likes of Napoli and Borussia Dortmund but also struggled to pick up wins over Sampdoria and Benevento.

Italian journalist Andre Scanzi believes that Lazio is lacking one key aspect that makes successful teams. More so, he does not necessarily understand the team’s up-and-down form this season, which is a side that clinched a spot in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage and is one that currently stands outside the top-five in the Serie A table.

Scanzi spoke further about Lazio and its upcoming league fixture against AC Milan in comments relayed by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi.

Lazio is the one that has disappointed the most so far; it lacks continuity. I still can’t understand the real Lazio, if it is the one that qualified with a certain ease in the Champions League or the one that also crashed with small players in the league. However, tomorrow we will have a clearer picture of the two teams.

A win for Lazio in this contest can inch the side closer to a top-four standing in league play, which is not out of the question for this side.
