Lazio Considering Man Utd’s Marcos Rojo but €8M Price Tag May Prove Too Expensive

Lazio are looking for a new defender in the upcoming January transfer window, with one option being Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo, according to a report from Italian media outlet Cittaceleste.it earlier today.

The report details how the Roman side know that a new defender must be signed in January in order to give coach Simone Inzaghi more rotational options.

The 30-year-old Rojo’s contract expires with the Red Devils at the end of this season, so the Argentinian defender could be a low cost option for the Biancocelesti.

If Manchester United continue to demand €8 million then a deal wold not be reached, but sporting director Igli Tare remains vigilant and it is too early to rule out an agreement just yet.

Rojo has not made a single appearance this campaign for the Red Devils, not even being included in any of the matchday squads.

He has not made a single first team appearance since February of this year.
