Lazio have conceded 23 goals in the first 14 games of the season, their worst record in 60 years after the 26 conceded in the 1983/84 season, according to a report from Italian stats provider Lazio Page on Twitter yesterday.
The Biancocelesti played well at the San Siro yesterday, but did not do enough to secure the three points against the Rossoneri, and left empty handed after a late winner from French full back Theo Hernandez.
Yesterday’s game saw Lazio concede three times, making their total goals conceded at this stage of the season rise to 23.
This is their worst record in 60 years after the 26 goals they conceded in the league in the 1983/84 season. In that campaign, the Biancocelesti finished 13th out of 16 teams, only escaping relegation thanks to a good head-to-head record against Genoa.
The only team currently above Lazio in the league table to have conceded an equal amount of goals is Roma, who sit in 3rd with 27 points. The Giallorossi have also scored nine more goals than their intercity rivals.
