Ciro Immobile is a goal-scoring machine in Serie A.
The Lazio striker scored 27 goals in 2020, with only Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo scoring more goals (33) in the Italian top-flight than the 30-year-old.
14 of the 27 goals have come this 2020-21 season, and one could argue that they’ve been the toughest to score this year.
With Lazio trying to balance Serie A and UEFA Champions League competition, Immobile is putting up the goals for the Biancocelesti. Furthermore, the Italian international is scoring in both competitions.
He has nine goals in Serie A and five in the Champions League, so Immobile is putting on his goal-scoring boots for the league and Europe.
This 2020-21 season, Immobile is fifth in Serie A in goals per 90 minutes for players with more than seven appearances.
He scores .87 goals per 90 minutes, averages 2.9 total shots per 90 minutes, and has a scoring frequency of every 103 minutes (according to SofaScore).
2021 should be another good scoring year for the 30-year-old as he shows no signs of slowing down.
