Lazio’s Search for New Left Wing Back Includes Fiorentina’s Biraghi & Sampdoria’s Augello

A report from Roman newspaper Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) has highlighted three left wing-backs that Lazio are considering signing in next month’s transfer window.

The report details how coach Simone Inzaghi needs a new left wing-back next month, with his only options being Adam Marusic and Djavan Anderson, considering the injuries to Mohamed Fares and Senad Lulic.

Three names that Lazio have been following for some time are Lille’s Domagoj Bradarić, Club Brugge’s Federico Ricca and Hellas Verona’s Darko Lazović.

However, three new players have also been linked with the Biancocelesti, the report continues, starting with Sampdoria’s Tommaso Augello. The former Spezia man has impressed this campaign with the Ligurian side and coach Claudio Ranieri would not want him to leave, but interest from Lazio may change that.

Another potential option for the Roman club is Fiorentina’s Cristiano Biraghi, who could be included in a deal that would see Felipe Caicedo head to Florence.

The final player that the Biancocelesti are following is Palmeiras’ Matías Viña, although this deal may be a little harder to pull off.
