Many expected to see Lazio hold a top-four standing throughout the season as it did for much of the previous campaign. But so far, this has not been the case as the Biancocelesti currently holds an eighth-place standing in the Serie A table this season with an alarming 23 goals allowed so far.
Former Italian defender Claudio Onofri is very much concerned with Lazio’s form so far this season. And for Onofri, he is signaling out one key aspect that Simone Inzaghi’s side is in need of. Onofri spoke about Lazio’s campaign so far in comments relayed by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi.
As a spectator, I continue to have a bad feeling compared to this championship. Without an audience, it’s all strange. For Lazio, it’s even stranger. Since last year they have not fully recovered. They have shown flashes.
Within this negative ranking, there have been some positive moments. Now we need continuity.
