Lazio have missed the most crosses in Serie A this campaign, showing their wing back issue, according to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

The report details how the Biancocelesti have failed 118 crosses since the start of the season, more than Sampdoria (110) and Inter (107), worrying figures for coach Simone Inzaghi.

With the injuries to Senad Lulic and Mohamed Fares, only Manuel Lazzari and Adam Marusic can start as wing backs for Lazio, a clear issue for the Biancocelesti.

The Roman club have made 67 successful crosses, however, which is the fifth highest in Serie A after Inter (100), Napoli (76), Sampdoria (72) and AC Milan (69).

Many goals have been scored from corners, like Ciro Immobile’s strikes against Crotone, Napoli and Benevento, showing the danger a successful cross can pose.

The Biancocelesti are likely to sign a new left wing back in next month’s transfer window.
