A report from Italian broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) has highlighted how Lazio are significantly better in the second half of a game than they are in the first.

The report details how, only counting the second half of a match, coach Simone Inzaghi’s side would be in third place in Serie A with 26 points, behind Inter (29) and Sassuolo (27), showing how the Roman club perform significantly better after the first 45 minutes.

In comparison, only looking at the first half of a match, Lazio would be essentially relegation candidates, with only 14 points.

These statistics clearly show that Inzaghi’s team struggle to hit the ground running in Serie A, often causing difficulty before the half time whistle, before managing to impress after the break.

The Biancocelesti have performed better in Europe this season, qualifying for the Round of 16 of the Champions League after finishing second in the group.
