Benevento Coach Inzaghi: “Lazio’s Ciro Immobile Is The Strongest Italian Striker”

Benevento coach Filippo Inzaghi discussed Lazio coach and brother Simone Inzaghi and Biancocelesti star Ciro Immobile in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

Simone and Pioli deserve the most recognition. Milan are winning in spite of so many absentees, it means they have substance and they’re right to believe in themselves.

He touched on which player was the best in Serie A this campaign.

Immobile, who I think is the strongest Italian striker.

Finally, Inzaghi spoke about AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

An example of great mentality and strength, he shows how he believes in what he does. I’m happy for him, I know him well and I was convinced he’d do well.

The 30-year-old Immobile, who is contracted to the Roman club until 2025, was voted the Lazio 2020 Player of the Year by the fans for his strong performances this season and last.

This campaign, the Italian forward has scored 14 goals and provided three assists in 16 games across all competitions.
