Ex-Forward Graziani: “Difficult For Lazio To Sell Felipe Caicedo Next Month”

Former Torino forward Francesco Graziani discussed a possible sale of Lazio striker Felipe Caicedo in next month’s transfer window in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Bruno Toscana (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

Caicedo knows the league and I like him. He’s awkward to watch when he duels with an opponent, but he sees the goal. With a player like that Fiorentina would be reinforced, but it’s difficult for Lazio to sell him.

The 32-year-old Caicedo, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2022, has made 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 582 minutes. In that time, he has scored five goals.

The Ecuadorian forward is unhappy with coach Simone Inzaghi because he feels that he should have been deployed against AC Milan in the final game of 2020.

Caicedo wants more playing time and a move to Fiorentina next month would guarantee that, considering their lack of a consistent goal scorer this campaign.
