Lazio President Claudio Lotito Puts Price Tag On Fiorentina Linked Felipe Caicedo

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has put a price tag on Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo, amidst strong interest from Cesare Prandelli’s Fiorentina, according to a report from Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today.

The report details how the Biancocelesti president would accept an offer of around €5-7 million for the 32-year-old Ecuadorian, who is unhappy with his low amount of playing time in Rome this campaign under coach Simone Inzaghi.

Fiorentina are seriously interested in the player, hoping that he can provide them goals in a time where they’re looking to create distance between themselves and the teams at the bottom league table. The Viola are only four points ahead of relegation candidates Genoa.

Caicedo, who is contracted to Lazio until 2022 and earns €2 million net per season, has made 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 582 minutes. In that time, he has scored five goals.
