Lazio striker Ciro Immobile was left out of Italian stats provider Opta Paolo’s Serie A squad of 2020, as seen in their announcement on Twitter earlier today.

The 30-year-old Italian striker, who scored 28 goals in the last 12 months across all competitions, was left out of the squad in favour of Inter’s Romelu Lukaku, who netted 22 times in 2020.

While Immobile was snubbed, one Lazio player was included in the squad. This was Italian central defender Francesco Acerbi.
