Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto is not having a season that one would consider as being up to his usual standards.
In Serie A play so far this season, the Spanish midfielder has logged three goals over 12 appearances. However, he is still without an assist in league play. This is coming off of a season in which he recorded a Serie A career-high 15 assists, which led the team.
However, Alberto still has been a reliable player for Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi. As noted by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi, Alberto has logged 958 minutes played, which leads all outfield players on the team. The Spanish midfielder has reached this figure thanks to his 12 starts in league play and the fact that he has only missed a mere two fixtures this season.
The best ability is availability and for Alberto, he remains a player that Inzaghi can regularly rely on for his starting lineups in league play.
