Formello: Lazio Coach Inzaghi Begins Tactical Exercises Ahead Of Clash Against Genoa

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has started the tactical exercises for this weekend’s league clash against Genoa, with Senad Lulic, Marco Parolo and Luiz Felipe all training individually, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how the Bosnian wing back, Italian midfielder and Brazilian defender all trained separately on a pitch in Formello yesterday, all hoping to return soon from their injuries.

Lulic’s condition will be monitored constantly over the next two weeks, as his availability will determine the Biancocelesti’s January transfer market strategy.

For the rest of the squad, Inzaghi began the tactical exercises in preparation for Sunday’s match against the Rossoblu.

He deployed Ecuadorian striker Felipe Caicedo alongside Italian forward Ciro Immobile in the 3-5-2 system, and the 32-year-old seems likely to start ahead of Vedat Muriqi on Sunday.

Inzaghi may choose not to immediately re-deploy Francesco Acerbi and Lucas Leiva against Genoa, as the busy schedule means that he may wish to let them fully recover and reach 100% fitness first.
