Lazio opened the scoring against Genoa CFC after a foul on Sergej Milinković-Savić led to a penalty kick call for the Biancocelesti.
Once the video assistant referee awarded the penalty to Lazio, Ciro Immobile stepped into the box where he scored his 10th goal of the Serie A season by converting the penalty kick.
However, Genoa answered in the second half with a goal of their own as they hit Lazio on the counter. With precise passing, Mattia Destro tied the match 1-1.
