Formello: Lazio Midfielder Marco Parolo Has Returned To Squad Training

Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo returned to squad training today in Formello, after a 20 day absence, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how the 35-year-old Italian midfielder, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until the end of the season, has recovered from his ankle issue and will be fit enough to face Fiorentina on Wednesday afternoon.

Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva will be suspended for the match against the Viola after picking up too many yellow cards, with both Danilo Cataldi and Gonzalo Escalante fighting to start in his spot.

Coach Simone Inzaghi will begin the tactical tests for Wednesday’s match tomorrow. It is a three way battle between Vedat Muriqi, Felipe Caicedo and Andreas Pereira to start alongside star forward Ciro Immobile.

Mohamed Fares, Joaquin Correa and Senad Lulic are all still out injured and will not feature against Fiorentina.
