One could pinpoint a variety of reasons as to why the side is having difficulty picking up key results, but for former Lazio defender Angelo Gregucci, he believes that the team’s mentality should be a cause for concern.
Gregucci reflected on the Biancocelesti’s recent performances in comments relayed by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi.
In this difficult moment, Lazio and Inzaghi are called to do what consecrates you as a great team. They must find the key to restore those extra motivations that are lost in the league after and for the Champions League ride.
A step in mentality that, for example, shows that Atalanta has made it. Metabolizing problems and relaunching, no one better than Inzaghi can do it. Now Lazio must be able to reconnect the plug focusing on the strength of his long project.
A run of quality performances can still push Lazio to a possible top-five standing in the league table. Overall, Lazio has plenty of time to turn its season around for the better.
