Formello: Lazio Striker Ciro Immobile Was Absent From Today’s Training Session

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile was absent from this afternoon’s training session in Formello, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how the 30-year-old Italian forward, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2025, missed the squad training session, in view of tomorrow’s Serie A clash against Fiorentina.

The reason for Immobile’s absence is currently unclear, and there is a chance he could also miss tomorrow’s match with the Viola.

The former Torino and Pescara forward has made 15 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1346 minutes. In that time, he has scored 15 goals and provided three assists, continuing his incredible form from last campaign.

Algerian left wing back Mohamed Fares and Argentine forward Joaquin Correa were also both absent from training, both still dealing with injuries and hoping to return in time for the Derby della Capitale.
