New Round of Medical Checks for Lazio’s Lulic, Next 48 Hours Will Be Decisive

The next 48 hours will be decisive for Lazio captain Senad Lulic, as he undergoes a new round of medical checks, according to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

The report details how the 34-year-old Bosnian midfielder, who is contracted to the Roman club until the end of the season, has not been seen on the pitch since returning to Formello on New Year’s Day.

He is working hard to be fit enough to regain his spot in coach Simone Inzaghi’s squad, as the club will have to make a new signing should he fail to regain his fitness.

Lulic will undergo further medical checks over the next 48 hours, with talks of a series of tests in Switzerland, and these will be decisive for Lazio’s transfer market plans.

Should the Lazio captain be reinstated in the Serie A squad registration list, Djavan Anderson will be cut and the Biancocelesti will then look to sign an under-22 player this month.
