Lazio Sporting Director Tare: “Lulic Will Return to the Squad the Day After Tomorrow”

Lazio sporting director Igli Tare discussed this month’s transfer window, absences in the squad and the reported argument with president Claudio Lotito in an interview with Italian broadcaster DAZN (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

There has never been any contact from Fiorentina for Caicedo. I’ll see Daniele Pradé later, but I haven’t heard anything from them.

The Albanian executive then touched on when Senad Lulic and Mohamed Fares are set to the return to the squad.

The day after tomorrow Lulic should be back with the squad. I think with him and Fares in that position we’ll be covered.

Unfortunately, Fares has also been absent for five or six games. He’s been better for a few days now and we hope to get him back as soon as possible.

Finally, Tare commented on the reports that he and president Lotito had an argument earlier this week due to the work surrounding the transfer window.

There have never been any. I’ve been in Rome for 13 years, I know how it works.

I’d have no problem admitting it, but in this case I don’t know where it comes from.
