Formello: Lazio Striker Muriqi Scores Hattrick in Friendly Against Primavera Squad

The Lazio players who did not feature against Fiorentina yesterday or only featured lightly carried out a short friendly with the Primavera squad in today’s training session in Formello, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how the friendly match between the well-rested first team players and the Primavera squad ended 6-4 in place of Simone Inzaghi’s side, with Kosovan forward Vedat Muriqi scoring a hattrick, Andreas Pereira scoring a brace and Marco Parolo scoring the sixth.

Youngsters Raúl Moro, Szymon Czyż and Tyro Nimmermeer all scored for the Primavera squad, with the Spanish teenager scoring a brace as well.

In defense Slovakian Denis Vavro joined the back-three, moving between Nicolò Armini and Stefan Radu in the friendly match. This was his first outing with his teammates since being taken off the Serie A squad registration list following the return of Radu.

Regarding Bosnian captain Senad Lulic, he started today’s training session on the pitch, taking part in the warm-up, skipping, running and even ball possession exercises. The 34-year-old is testing his left ankle, which has undergone three operations in the last year, and his condition is being monitored closely.
