Lazio Captain Lulic Set to Return to the Squad Tomorrow, Italian Media Suggest

Lazio captain Senad Lulic will return to the squad tomorrow, but is unlikely to feature against Parma this weekend, according to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

The report details how the 34-year-old Bosnian midfielder, who is contracted to the Roman club until the end of the season, is finally set to return to the squad, after almost 12 months on the sidelines with a serious ankle injury.

After multiple surgeries and many different tests, Lulic will return to the Lazio squad tomorrow.

Algerian wing back Mohamed Fares is also set to return to the squad next week, meaning that sporting director Igli Tare may not need to sign a left wing back this month after all.

Much will depend on the answers given by Lulic and Fares over the next week or so, but hopes are high.

Many players have been linked with the Biancocelesti in recent weeks to fill that void, such as Cukaricki’s Dimitrije Kamenović and Lille’s Domagoj Bradarić.
