Lazio forward Ciro Immobile has not missed a beat over the ongoing campaign after winning the Golden Boot last season.
In Lazio’s recent Serie A fixture against Fiorentina, Immobile scored what turned out to be the game-winner for his side in the 2-1 win. For the Italian forward, it was his 11th league goal of the season.
The 11 league goals number for Immobile leads the team and as noted by the Italian-based outlet Cittaceleste, it ranks third in the league behind Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo (14) and Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku (12).
Both of these two goal-scoring talents have been in top form for their respective sides and have played a key role in keeping them in the Serie A title race this season.
While he does not currently lead the league in goals, Immobile is more than capable of soon climbing up to the top of this statistical leaderboard.
