Former Lazio defender Massimo Piscedda discussed the Biancocelesti’s upcoming Serie A clash against Parma in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

Parma used to be a team that defended well and started well. Now they’ve lost their identity, at the moment I don’t know what could bother Lazio.

Lazio have to take advantage of this situation. They have changed coach, even if it’s actually a return. D’Aversa knows this team well and he won’t need too much time.

Parma are currently 18th in the league table after 16 games, sitting on 12 points. The Gialloblu have failed to win a single game in their last five league outings, managing to only achieve a single point in that time.

Their last win in Serie A was against Genoa at the end of November, which is why the management decided to sack Fabio Liverani and replace him with Roberto D’Aversa, who was previously dismissed in the summer.

Lazio, on the other hand, sit 8th in the table after 16 games with 25 points. They’ve earnt eight points in their last five games, coming from two wins, two draws and a loss.
