Formello: Lazio’s Lulic Completed the Entirety of Today’s Session With the Squad

Lazio captain Senad Lulic completed today’s training session with the squad in Formello, suggesting that a return may be on the cards soon, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how the 34-year-old Bosnian midfielder, whose contract expires with the Roman club at the end of the season, completed the entirety of today’s session with his teammates, finally showing strong signals after almost a year on the sidelines with a serious ankle injury.

Joaquin Correa and Mohamed Fares both trained individually and worked with the ball, aiming to be fit in time for next week’s Derby della Capitale against Roma.

Patric and Luiz Felipe broke away from the squad after the ball possession phase to carry out individual work. Manuel Lazzari and Adam Marusic were both absent today, with it being hoped that they’re simply being rested for an extra day.

Denis Vavro also took part in his second consecutive training session with the squad, following on from his failed move to Genoa earlier this week.

Coach Simone Inzaghi will carry out the tactical exercises for Sunday’s game against Parma tomorrow, where he will likely choose his starting 11.
