Juventus Ready to Offer Lazio €7m for Inter Linked Caicedo as Race Heats Up

Inter and Fiorentina are not the only clubs looking to sign Lazio striker Felipe Caicedo this month, with Juventus also preparing an offer, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how the Bianconeri are looking for a reliable forward to provide backup to Spaniard Alvaro Morata, and believe the 32-year-old Ecuadorian forward fits that profile well.

The Turin based club are ready to offer between €6-7 million for the player, as well as potentially adding some players in exchange, whilst the Biancocelesti are only looking for liquid capital.

Given the interest of the two richest clubs in Italy, president Claudio Lotito has raised Caicedo’s price tag to €12 million.

A deal may be around at around €9-10 million, with Inter trying to match Juventus’ offer. Fiorentina have been caught off guard by all of this, and Caicedo has declined their offer, attracted by the idea of fighting for the league title.
