Next Two Weeks Crucial for Lazio’s Lulic as He Looks to Return to the Squad

The next two weeks will be crucial for Lazio captain Senad Lulic as he looks to return to the pitch after almost a year of being on the sidelines, according to a report from Roman newspaper Il Tempo (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

The report details how the 34-year-old Bosnian midfielder, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until the end of the season, is expected to complete today’s entire training session with the squad, having taken part in multiple exercises yesterday in Formello.

The next fortnight will be decisive for Lulic as the club look to understand his physical condition and fitness in this time, before deciding whether or not to include him in the Serie A squad registration list in place of Djavan Anderson.

The Roman club may be forced to sign a reinforcement in the left wing back role should Lulic not give the required signals, the report continues.

Everyone at Lazio are hopeful that the 34-year-old Bosnian will return, and the next few days will be important as Lulic looks to continue his work in training with the squad.
