“The Team and My Voice Say We Don’t Want to Give up Anything” – Inzaghi Comments on Lazio’s Form After Their Win Over Parma

After a draw last weekend against Genoa CFC, Lazio has racked up two wins in a row, sitting in eighth place in the Serie A table with 28 points.

The Biancocelesti picked a mid-week 2-1 win over ACF Fiorentina and now a 2-0 victory over Parma Calcio. Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi spoke to the media where Corriere dello Sport relayed comments from the Lazio manager.

He explained that the gruelling schedule has lightened up after balancing the Champions League group stage and domestic campaign, adding that it has helped them find their form.

Inzaghi also discussed the squad’s recent form as they now sit just three points outside of fourth place, which would guarantee the club UEFA Champions League football for the 2021-22 season.

The Champions League group was not easy, and there were many problems related to Covid.

We have won the last two games, we are missing a few points; we deserved something more on some occasions…

The team and my voice prove we don’t want to give up anything.

On Friday, Lazio will take on AS Roma in the latest installment of the Derby della Capitale. However, with Roma in third place, this is the fixture that the Biancocelesti need to win. They’ll have to start jumping over clubs in the standings, and it could begin against their city rival.
