Everton Linked With a Move for Ex-Lazio Forward Felipe Anderson, English Media Detail

Former Lazio forward Felipe Anderson could leave Premier League side West Ham to join Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton, according to a report from English media outlet Teamtalk.com earlier today.

The report details how the 27-year-old Brazilian forward, who is contracted to the Hammers until 2022, has failed to settle on loan at Portuguese side Porto and has fallen out with coach Sergio Conceicao, meaning a return to London has now been set in motion.

Anderson did not settle well in East London and seems finally set to leave West Ham after two and a half years, with Ancelotti’s Everton looking for a new winger.

The Liverpool based side are close to completing a swap deal with Roma that’ll see Bernard join the Giallorossi in exchange for Robin Olson, freeing up a spot up front.

According to FIFA rules, Anderson should not be able to play for another club this season, after already appearing for both West Ham and Porto, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic these rules will be relaxed.
