Former Italian defender Giancarlo Oddi is much looking ahead to what this upcoming Rome Derby will bring. As a long-time Lazio defender, he surely regularly has his eye on the Rome Derby. More so, he notes that this upcoming fixture is one that Lazio must come away with three points in.

I don’t think Lazio can make a mistake in the derby. When they play with important teams, they are more concentrated. However, we are talking about a match that goes beyond the Serie A championship; the derby of Rome is different from all the others.
The derby of Rome is unique, even without fans at the stadium the emotions will be strong. Lazio must win.
A win for Lazio could help the side inch closer to AS Roma, who currently holds a third-place standing in the Serie A table.
