Lazio president Claudio Lotito offered Spanish teenager Raul Moro the option of joining Serie B side Salernitana on loan for the second half of this season, but it was declined, according to a report from Roman newspaper Il Mattino (via Cittaceleste) earlier today.
The report details how the 18-year-old Spanish forward, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2022, wants to play more regular first team minutes, something that he hasn’t even earnt once this campaign under coach Simone Inzaghi.
Moro and his entourage refused an offer from Lotito to join Salernitana on loan, as they’d rather earn playing time with the Roman club instead. The idea of possibly returning to Spain is also an attractive prospect to the teenager, although nothing is currently in the works.
Inzaghi gave Moro his Lazio debut in the 2-1 defeat to Juventus in July last year, but has not awarded him another appearance since.
