Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has scored the third most penalties in Europe’s top five leagues since the start of February, according to a report from stats provider WhoScored on Twitter earlier today.
The 30-year-old Italian striker, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2025, has scored 11 penalties since the 1st February. In that same period, Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 14, one behind Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes.
In total, Immobile has scored the most goals in this period, netting 37 times, compared to Ronaldo’s 29 and Fernandes’ 27.
