Crotone Begin Talks With Lazio Regarding Loan Deal for Djavan Anderson

Relegation candidates Crotone have started talks with Lazio regarding a deal for Dutch midfielder Djavan Anderson, according to a report from Italian media outlet GianlucaDiMarzio.com earlier today.

The report details how the Calabrian side, who currently sit bottom of Serie A with nine points, are looking to strengthen their squad as much as possible this month, in order to avoid relegation in the second half of the season.

Crotone have already started talks with Lazio regarding a loan deal for the 25-year-old Anderson, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2023.

Anderson is tempted by the offer and contacts could intensify today, with the aim of positively closing the deal soon.

The 25-year-old Dutchman has only made three appearances in the league this season, for a total of 70 minutes.

Should Bosnian midfielder Senad Lulic recover from his serious ankle injury, it is expected that he will take Anderson’s place in the Serie A squad registration list.
