Lazio have reached an agreement with Serbian side Cukaricki for 20-year-old left back Dimitrije Kamenovic, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how an agreement has been reached between the two clubs regarding a deal worth around €2.5 million plus add-ons for the 20-year-old Kamenovic, whose current contract expires with the Serbian club in 2022.
Kamenovic will arrive in Rome in the next few days, potentially after Friday’s derby against Roma, to undergo his medicals, before returning back to his native Serbia.
The 20-year-old Serbian left back will remain with Cukaricki for another six months on loan, until joining up with Lazio for this summer’s pre-season training camp.
He would only join the squad this month if Bosnian veteran Senad Lulic is forced to stay on the sidelines for the foreseeable future.
Kamenovic has made 19 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1558 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided two assists.
