Cukaricki coach Dusan Djordjevic discussed new Lazio signing Dimitrije Kamenovic in an interview earlier today. His words were collected by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi.

Kamenovic will be very useful for Lazio, as he can play both full-back and central defender. Serie A teams often play with a three-man defense, and he is a left-back who can adapt to all systems.

He is very young, 20 years old, and has been playing at a very good level for more than a year.

He is tall, physically strong, has a long stride, a sense of the game and is very good in the air. He has ample room for improvement and Lazio have certainly assessed the player in perspective.

The coach then moved onto discussing the Serbian club’s strategy regarding young players.

This transfer is an acknowledgement for everyone at the club, because Cukaricki’s policy is to nurture talent and then sell them. Obviously, it takes time for young people to grow.

Now Kamenovic has been sold, but there are still other talents in the squad and you never know who will attract the attention of European clubs next.

The 20-year-old Kamenovic will stay with Cukaricki for the rest of the season on loan, before joining the Biancocelesti for their pre-season training camp in the summer.
