Lazio forward Joaquin Correa trained regularly with the squad today at Formello, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the 26-year-old Argentine forward, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2024, has been suffering from a calf injury since the end of last year, which has forced him to miss the last three consecutive games.
Correa had been hoping to return in time for the Derby della Capitale against Roma tomorrow, and his work in training with the squad today is a good sign.

This is encouraging news for coach Simone Inzaghi, who is planning to keep the player on the bench until the final stages of the match where he could make an impact.
Ecuadorian striker Felipe Caicedo will start up front alongside Italian star Ciro Immobile, a clinical pair in 2021.
Correa has scored three goals and provided three assists in 17 appearances so far this campaign, across all competitions.
