Lazio are set to send 27-year-old Danish midfielder Riza Durmisi and 23-year-old Moroccan midfielder Sofian Kiyine to Salernitana on a six-month loan deal, according to a report from Italian media outlet earlier today.

The report details how the Biancocelesti have given the green light to the loan transfer of the two midfielders, who both have not featured under coach Simone Inzaghi in Rome this campaign.

Kiyine joined the Roman club in the summer of 2019 from Chievo Verona, and spent last season on loan with Salernitana, where he made 36 appearances across all competitions. In that time, he scored 11 goals and provided three assists.

Durmisi failed to settle in Rome during his first season after arriving in 2018, and was sent to French side Nice on loan last campaign, where he made five appearances across all competitions.

Neither player is likely to be needed by Inzaghi for the remainder of this season.
