Official: Lazio’s Senad Lulic Has Been Included in the Serie A Squad Registration List

Lazio have officially announced that Bosnian midfielder Senad Lulic has re-joined the Serie A squad registration list, taking the place of Djavan Anderson, according to an official statement earlier today.

The report details how the 34-year-old Bosnian veteran, whose contract expires with the Biancocelesti at the end of the season, is now back in the squad, having mostly recovered from the series of ankle injuries he’s been suffering from since February last year.

Lulic will now be an option for coach Simone Inzaghi in tomorrow’s Derby della Capitale against Roma, as well as the remaining games of the campaign.

The 34-year-old, who has been with the Biancocelesti since 2008, made his last appearance in a 0-0 draw against Hellas Verona at the start of February last season.

He has been working hard on his recovery, undergoing three ankle operations but refusing to throw in the towel.

Lazio officially announced his return, saying:

S.S. Lazio announce the change in the list of ‘Over 22’ players who can be used in Lega Serie A competitions, with Senad Lulic taking the place of Djavan Lorenzo Anderson.
