For us it was very important to win today, in Serie A we weren’t doing well, we went through a bad period, but in recent weeks we have seen a different team. We improved and today we proved it with a winning mentality.
Luis Alberto then touched on his performance and hopes Lazio can continue to pick up wins against those in front of them in the standings.

The Biancocelesti sits in seventh place but are only two points out of fourth place, guaranteeing them UEFA Champions League football next season. If Lazio can carry this form for the remainder of the season, it’s not crazy to imagine them finishing in the top four.
