Fenerbahce President Ali Koç: “I Hope Muriqi Can Show His Qualities & Be Happy at Lazio”

Fenerbahce president Ali Koç discussed a possible return of Lazio striker Vedat Muriqi to the Turkish club in an interview with the Turkish media (as reported by La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

I don’t know if our coach or our sporting director have done anything to bring Muriqi back, I don’t know anything about his possible return.

As a Vedat fan, I hope he can show his qualities and be happy at Lazio.

The Turkish businessman did also fuel the hope of the Fenerbahce fans a little.

Of course, if Vedat wanted to return to Turkey then we would be the first suitors.

The 26-year-old Muriqi, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2025, has not settled in Rome since arriving in the summer transfer window, in a deal worth around €20 million.

The Kosovan forward has made 13 appearances across all competitions for a total of 391 minutes, but has not contributed to a single goal in that time.
