Lazio is days removed from its dramatic 3-0 win over AS Roma in the recent edition of the Rome Derby.

It was a performance from Lazio in which many have lauded for such a brilliant display on both sides of the ball, from its multiple high percentage goal-scoring chances created to ability to thwart away many potential threatening Roma attacks.

Former Italian defender Giancarlo Oddi is still very much impressed with the showing from the Biancocelesti.

He spoke to Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) about the team and touched briefly on what it would take for Simone Inzaghi’s side to once again reach a top-four standing in Serie A.

Lazio is a great club and a great team. There are very important players who can change the game.

If they play with the right wickedness, the Biancocelesti can always finish in the top four. The Champions League takes away energy, but it gives you that prestige in Europe that matters a lot.

Lazio still has ways to go before it can establish a place in the top-four, but recent results indicate that the side is capable of doing so.
