Lazio is set to take on Parma in a Coppa Italia Round of 16 bout. The two sides just recently faced off in a Serie A fixture that ended with Lazio taking home all three points thanks to a 2-0 win.
For Italian journalist Franco Recanatesi, he would like to see Inzaghi use this opportunity to provide playing time to some prospects on the team. Recanatesi believes that Inzaghi does not provide enough chances to these players but sees that this would be a good time to allow them to prove their worth to the team.
Recanatesi spoke about this matter to Cittaceleste.
In the Italian Cup, I would like to see the players who have seen each other less. Like Armini for example. If I had to make a note to Simone Inzaghi, I would say that he has little regard for the young players.
Recantesi notes Nicolo Armini as one player who he would like to see be available to feature in this knockout stage bout. The Italian talent still has not made an appearance in any competition for the team this season.
