This surely was among the best performances by a Lazio midfielder in the Rome Derby in quite a while. Alberto simply had his way when on the ball against the club’s bitter rivals.
Alberto and Lazio now look ahead to continuing to climb up the Serie A table. This win over Roma pushed the side back in the race for a top-four spot in the league table, which is certainly now a realistic goal for the club.
