Former Lazio forward Roberto Rambuadi discussed the possibility of Denis Vavro being reintegrated into the Biancocelesti squad due to Luiz Felipe’s serious ankle injury in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radio Incontro Olympia (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

Vavro cannot be the solution. If Lazio decide not to go to the market, I hope Luiz Felipe will grit his teeth and carry on. Lazio were already in an emergency.

Like never before now it depends on the objectives, if you want to finish in the top four you have to go on the market.

The 23-year-old Luiz Felipe flew to Germany yesterday to carry out medical tests, which suggested that he should undergo surgery in order to solve his right ankle issue.

Should that take place, the Brazilian would miss the remainder of the season.

As such, the Biancocelesti are considering bringing Vavro back into the fold temporarily, although coach Simone Inzaghi does not want the player to be a part of his project.
