Lazio defender Luiz Felipe has decided to undergo surgery to solve his ankle issues, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the 23-year-old Brazilian defender, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2022, has been dealing with the ankle issues since September after the friendly match against Frosinone.

He missed the first five games of the season but managed to pull through and make 14 appearances across all competitions, including in the 3-0 derby win against Roma last week.
Luiz Felipe will undergo surgery tomorrow or on Friday in Munich, and his estimated recovery time is around 60 to 70 days, meaning he should be available to return by the end of March or beginning of April.
The Lazio defender is expected to sign a new deal with the Roman club that will extend his contract until 2025.
