Lazio defender Denis Vavro may be reintegrated into the squad due to Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe’s serious ankle issue, according to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.
The report details how the 23-year-old Brazilian flew to Germany yesterday to carry out medical tests, with the results not returning positive. The player has been advised to undergo surgery, which would force him to miss the remainder of the season.

Even if Luiz Felipe decides to postpone to surgery until the summer, he is still likely to miss the next three games against Parma, Sassuolo and Atalanta.
As such, coach Simone Inzaghi is considering recalling Vavro for at least tomorrow’s match against Parma.
The 24-year-old Slovakian defender is not on the Serie A squad registration list and Inzaghi still doesn’t want to involve the player in his project, but Vavro still may feature as an emergency solution whilst waiting for new offers.
