Lazio owned forward Bobby Adekanye is set to return from his loan spell with Spanish side Cadiz in order to move on loan to the Eredivisie, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how the 21-year-old Dutch forward, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2022, has only made five appearances across all competitions so far this season for the La Liga club, for a total of 152 minutes.

Due to his low amount of playing time, Lazio have decided to recall Adekanye and are now looking around for a new home for the player.

Dutch side Emmen are interested, but fellow Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag have now jumped to pole position in the race to secure his signature.

The Hague based club are close to securing a loan deal for the 21-year-old Adekanye, but first must find a financial agreement with the player, although both sides are positive.

Lazio are eagerly awaiting developments, hoping for ADO Den Haag to pull the trigger in the coming days.
