After a long wait, Lazio forward Joaquin Correa finally made his return to action with the team. The Argentine talent was subbed in by manager Simone Inzaghi during the second half of the team’s Coppa Italia fixture against Parma.

Correa had missed Lazio’s last four fixtures in Serie A play. He had been dealing with a calf injury, which was not one that was deemed to be a serious injury.
Lazio’s coaching staff was closely monitoring his condition as the team did not want to rush him back from his injury; but now, he has been cleared for action and is back for the team.
Correa has scored three goals in all competitions so far this season. He should be back in the battle for regular playing time, especially at this critical point in the season.
