Lazio left back Riza Durmisi is set to sign for Serie B side Salernitana on loan, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.
The report details how the 27-year-old Danish full back is not part of coach Simone Inzaghi’s project in Rome, in part due to his poor physical condition. The player has not featured in an official match since the 7th March last year, for Nice on loan in Ligue 1.

The campaign before that, Durmisi featured inconsistently for Inzaghi’s side, suffering from a variety of issues including an elbow injury, thigh problems and back issues.
Salernitana asked the Biancocelesti for the 27-year-old Dane and the request was granted, leaving him to join on a six-month loan deal.
Durmisi has already arrived in Salerno and will sign the contract in the coming days.
