Immobile’s current goal-scoring run began during Lazio’s home UEFA Champions League group stage fixture against Borussia Dortmund. This was a contest in which he chipped in for a goal and an assist. Since then, Immobile has scored key goals in league and Champions League play along the way with some of them being game-winners.
One could make a strong case that Immobile is currently the top center-forward in the league right now. The Lazio star simply continues to add to his goal tally over the ongoing campaign.
